Precision machined to lock the cams at TDC. VR6® engines with 24 valves only.
This specialty cam locking bar is for 24 valve VR6® engines. Formerly our T10068A. The 24-valve VR6® engines were used on some GTI, GLI and all 3.2 liter VR6®. Also specified for W8 and W12 engines (two needed). This plate locks both camshafts at top dead center for setting valve timing. Solid steel with a protective finish (the factory T10068A is plastic). NOTE: Not for 12 valve VR6®. Not for any 2.7, 2.8 or 3.0 liter conventional V-6 engines.
