SubJ Part MNXZ10 – M10 Triple Square Bit LONG
The long M10 is great for reaching head bolts and some inner CV flange screws.
This 10 mm triple square is supplied with a permanent ½” drive base with an extra long overall length of 140 mm. The 10 mm is used for some starter mounting bolts, flywheel bolts and other applications. Some late model cars (some V6 and V8) and cars with DSG transmissions use this 10 mm on inner CV bolts, where the driveshaft flange attaches to the transmission. These bits are long enough for turning head bolts on the early 1.8T engines** that need 10 mm triple square (12 point) spline bits. Top quality Metalnerd® brand.
** Note: If your early 1.8t has 12 point head bolts, the new bolts you buy for reassembly may arrive with the newer 6 spline found on our MN3452. We have both in a kit (18TKIT) that will save you $3 and possibly a headache
