This slide hammer is for removing TDI diesel fuel injectors from engines from 1996 to 2003 (not for PD type engines that reached North America in 2004). TDIs with engine codes AHU, 1Z and ALH are covered. Safely extracts frozen injectors without thread damage. Especially useful for older TDIs that accumulate deposits around the injector.
